¹⁶ I will ask the Father, and he will give you another ·Helper [Counselor; Advocate; ^Cthe Holy Spirit] to be with you forever— ¹⁷ the Spirit of truth. The world cannot ·accept [receive] him, because it does not see him or know him. But you know him, because he ·lives [remains; abides] with you and he will be ·in [or among] you.
